McCritty, Sr.
Founder & President
Dr. Bayogar A. McCritty, Sr. founded Joy FC in 2011 with a singular vision: to give back to the community, empower young people, and promote a deep passion for football across Liberia. Under his founding leadership, the club grew from informal backyard matches into a structured organization competing in the Liberia Football Association.
Following his return from doctoral studies in the United States, Dr. McCritty spearheaded a comprehensive reorganization of the club — securing corporate sponsorship, rebuilding the squad, and setting a clear strategic direction toward First Division football. His commitment to the club and its community remains the driving force behind everything Joy FC stands for.
Board Members
Emmanuel Tamba Francis
Responsible for overseeing all administrative functions of the club and supporting the President in executing the strategic vision of Joy FC. A key figure in governance, planning, and the smooth running of club affairs.
Vice President – Operations
Oversees the operational side of Joy FC — coordinating match-day logistics, facilities, and club activities to ensure everything runs efficiently and to the highest standard.
Secretary General
Manages all administrative functions of the club, including correspondence, record-keeping, and coordination between departments. Ensures the smooth running of club affairs at every level.
Club Treasurer
Oversees the financial management of Joy FC, including budgeting, reporting, and ensuring the club's resources are deployed effectively in pursuit of its goals.
Supporting Staff
The dedicated team behind the scenes keeping Joy FC running at every level.
Club Manager
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the club, coordinating between the board, coaching staff, and players to ensure everything runs smoothly on and off the pitch.
Jorresjoe Ngama
Manages Joy FC's public image, social media presence, and press relations. Responsible for telling the club's story to fans, sponsors, and the wider football community.
Logistics Coordinator
Handles all travel, equipment, and match-day logistics for the squad. Ensures the team is always prepared and in the right place at the right time.
Community Liaison
Builds and maintains relationships between Joy FC and the local communities of Banjor, Virginia, and beyond. Champions the club's outreach and youth engagement programmes.

Augustine (Becky) Ali
Leads all technical operations for the club, overseeing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure Joy FC maintains the highest standards on and off the pitch.
Isaac (T-Square) Thompson
Drives the club's strategic planning and performance analytics. Isaac brings a data-informed approach to decision-making, helping Joy FC build a competitive edge through insight and preparation.
Nuetah William
Responsible for the safety and security of all players, staff, and supporters at Joy FC events. Nuetah ensures a safe environment at every training session and match day.
